Post Game Guide [Guides]
Welcome to the Post Game Guide. The following takes place just as you arrive back near the warp portal on Cassar Island after the end credits:
Note:
- The new enemies you will face after you gain the
Dematerializer are divided into 3 "Zones" and the difficulty in beating them will depend on your level, the equipment you gain from
Shop Level upgrades, and the materials you choose to add to that equipment to increase your stats. The 3 zones are as follows:
- Zone 1 - Huge Imp,
Death Slime,
Murder Bee,
Empty Fur (Level range: Lv.80-170*) (Recommended Equipment: Shop Level 10)
-
Zone 2 -
Power Golem,
Bone Lord,
Tarantella (Level range: Lv.170-250*) (Recommended Equipment: Shop Level 11)
-
Zone 3 -
Dark Mage,
Vampire Lord,
Banned Pages (Level range: Lv.450-750*) (Recommended Equipment: Shop Level 12, Shop Level 13 &
Lottery Level 5)
*Level ranges may vary depending on which mode (normal or hard) you are on, what equipment you are wearing, and what your stats are.
Note:
- Specific locations of
Big Jade Statues can be found in the
Big Jade Statue Locations section.
(You can also refer to StreetHawkFan's excellent Post Game Guides on YouTube)
Post Game Quest:
"Although your main quest ends here, there's still a lot more to do and explore on Rainbow Moon. Can you solve the mystery surrounding the magic fields that block your passage in some of the dungeons that you have visited before? Also check your side quest log for further unsolved quests. From now on, you can play till the level cap of 150."
- Speak to
Okimocery who is standing nearby.
- Go speak to
Tondraest in
Orad.
Post Game Quest:
"Noolend on Double Peek Isle can help you gain the mastery of battling the strongest monsters on Rainbow Moon. There's a lot more left to do, though. Make sure to talk to the following people: Leylon and Fenore in Taswan (Tscha), Min-Fier in the east of Mordan, Tingard in Hopper Forest, and Jewom in the Ocher Stone Swamp. Start with Leylon and Min-Fier."
-
Tondraest gives you a
Stone Ladder. Grab a boat in
Orad and head northwest to find
Double Peak Isle and use the ladder to speak to
Noolend.
Post Game Guide (Level 80-150):
-
Noolend gives you a gift of
Bread and
Wine and starts the Side Quest
Dreams of Steal. Go to the nearby
Twin Isles and find the
Old Propeller and the
Battery Pack and then return them to Noolend.
- Noolend gives you a
Robotic Unit and asks you to find his sister
Bodena on the
Forgotten Island which is just north of the Twin Isles.
- Use the Robotic Unit to gain access to the Forgotten island and make your way to a Chest in the Central West area. You will need the
Electronic Card from the Chest in order to reach Bodena in the East section.
- Finding Bodena unlocks
The Prisoner Side Quest.
- Return to Bodena at
Double Peak Isle and speak to her. She gives you the
Dematerializer . Speak to Noolend and he starts the Side Quest
Beast Master (this is the Quest that will allow your characters to advance to Level 250).
Note:
- You will be fighting a lot of
Wizard enemies among the upcoming higher level enemies. Try to hang on to at least 20
Cursed Robes that drop because you will need them for the
Eternal Master Side Quest (the final Level Upgrade Quest that allows you to go from Level 600 to 999).
Note:
- It's important to know that all Zone 1, Zone 2 and Zone 3 Enemies have a huge advantage over you in regards to Speed. Without the ability to defend, masses of these enemies will wipe out your party right off the bat. Check the tables below to see what I mean.
Zone 1
Zone 2
Zone 3
Bosses
Note:
- You will eventually run into an enemy called
Empty Fur. They drop the
Sphere of Hate Material that gives a significant Speed boost of +24 when crafted to your equipment at a Smith. Try to save all of them until you get to
Shop Level 11.
- The following 2 objectives should now be done (in any order):
Objective 1 Speak to
Min-Fier in East
Mordan for
The Crystals Side Quest
Objective 2 Speak to
Leylon in
Taswan for
The Box Side Quest
-
Big Jade Statue I Side Quest can also be done at this time (to upgrade to
Shop Level 10). You will need a total of 5
Big Jade Statues.
3 Big Jade Statues can be found in
Mining Shaft
2 Big Jade Statues can be found in
Warehouse
Objective 1 (Mining Shaft)
- Speak to
Min-Fier in East
Mordan to continue
The Crystals Side Quest now that you have the
Dematerializer . Go to the Mining Shaft in East Central Mordan and enter. Use the Dematerializer to gain access to the new area. Make your way through all of the new area and find 3
Moss Crystals,
Fire Crystal and
3 Big Jade Statues. Return the Moss Crystals and Fire Crystal to Min-Fier for your reward:
-
Big Fire Statue
-
Rainbow Bar Stack x 2
Objective 2 (Warehouse)
- Speak to
Leylon in
Taswan to start
The Box Side Quest. Enter the nearby Warehouse and use the Dematerializer and again search all of the new area to find
Leylon's Box and
2 Big Jade Statues. Return Leylon's Box to Leylon for your reward:
-
Big Fire Statue
- 978
Rainbow Coins
-
Big Mouse x 3
-
Rainbow Bar Stack
- Return to
Noolend on
Double Peak Isle and give him the 2
Big Fire Statues and the 20
Imp Wings he requested. You can now advance to Level 250!
Strategy Master Side Quest is now unlocked, which will allow your characters to advance to Level 600. Noolend requests 4 Big Fire Statues and 20
Living Rocks.
Post Game Guide (Level 150-250):
- I know at this time you REALLY want to try and finish
The Single Side Quest that unlocks
Lottery Level 5 (as well as gives you another
Big Fire Statue), but you really need gear from Shop Level 11 to finish that Quest. For now, return to
Kri-Lo in
Polad and give him the 5 Big Jade Statues to unlock
Shop Level 10.
-
Big Jade Statue II Side Quest is now available. You will need a total of 8
Big Jade Statues.
1 Big Jade Statue can be found in
Horheim
3 Big Jade Statues can be found in
Murky Basement
4 Big Jade Statues can be found in
Broad Kennel
Horheim
- Go to Horheim and use the
Dematerializer in the room where the shops are and go through the lava filled room to find a Chest containing
1 Big Jade Statue.
Murky Basement
- Go to the Murky Basement dungeon and use the Dematerializer there. In the first area that is surrounded by
Huge Imps, make your way around this area opening all the gates along the way. The
1st Big Jade Statue you find is South of the
Dungeon Warp you see as you make your way to the center of that area. Use the nearby Warp and you'll be in a new area where a bunch of Huge Imps are flying around small square structures. You will want to make your way to the North of this area to find the
2nd Big Jade Statue. After you have it, head to the South of that area and use the Dungeon Warp there. The new area you end up in will go in 2 directions after you reach the center. The Northeast path leads you to the optional Boss
Annihilator (which I HIGHLY suggest you Do Not tackle at this point). The path to the Southeast leads to a Dungeon Warp that takes you to the
3rd Big Jade Statue.
Broad Kennel
-
2 Big Jade Statues can be found half way through the dungeon toward the left side guarded by a Huge Imp and
Death Slime. The other
2 Big Jade Statues are near the end of the dungeon on the right side guarded by a
Murder Bee and
Power Golem. This dungeon is also the best place to get your 20
Living Rocks Use the Dematerializer to the West when you enter. There will be 2 mobs of 38 Power Golems each there.
- Now that you have the required 8 Big Jade Statues, return to
Kri-Lo in
Polad to unlock Shop Level 11.
-
Big jade Statue III Side Quest is now available. You will need a total of 10
Big Jade Statues.
4 Big Jade Statues can be found in
Stormlord's Den
2 Big Jade Statues can be found in
Castle Temwall
4 Big Jade Statues can be found in
Great Labyrinth
Note:
- Buy all the best equipment available and go to the Smith. Use all those
Spheres of Hate mentioned earlier on that equipment until your speed stat is at least 1,850 (Normal Difficulty). This guarantees that you will go first when facing the
Bone Lord enemies.
Note:
- Stormlord's Den (Level 5) is probably the best place to grind after Level 170 all the way to 600 (may be different for Hard mode) because of the random encounters there. It's a great place to get Spheres of Hate, too.
Stormlord's Den
There are actually 6 total Big Jade Statues, but you won't be able to get 2 of them until later
- If you haven't already done so, make your way into the Stormlord's Den which is divided into 5 areas (Main Level, Level 2, Level 3, Level 4 & Level 5). Levels 2-5 each require a Key to enter. You get the
Level 1 Key just outside the dungeon in a Chest. Go back in and use the Level 1 Key to gain access to Level 2. At the end of that area will be a chest with the
Level 2 Key. Use it to unlock the Level 3 area. At the end of the Level 3 area you will find the
Level 3 Key. Use it to unlock Level 4 and make your way to the end to find the
Level 4 Key. Now that you have the Level 4 Key, you can gain access to Level 5 and the Big Jade Statues.
2 Big Jade Statues can be found just as you enter Level 5. The other
2 Big Jade Statues can be found in a Chest in the South part of Level 5.
The last 2 Big Jade Statues in this dungeon are past the Stormlord Boss, which I will discus later.
Castle Temwall
- Before heading to the Great Labyrinth to finish
The Single Side Quest, you may want to finish the
Order of the King Side Quest. Go into Castle Temwall and head East until you reach the center of that passageway and use the Dematerializer in the South. You will see a row of Power Golems and a
Tarantella. Beat them all and use the pressure plates behind them to open the gates beyond the Tarantella where you will find the
Order of the King as well as
2 Big Jade Statues.
(One of the pressure plates will open a secret area behind the East wall. Walk through it and you'll end up in a room with 4 portrait paintings of the creators of the Rainbow Moon game).
- Return to
Tingard and give him the Order of the King. He gives you 2
Big Fire Statues.
Great Labyrinth
- Now you can finish
The Single Side Quest without too much trouble. Head into the Great Labyrinth and use the Dematerializer in the West section. Fight all the enemies and open the gates along the way (note that there is a Chest containing
2 Big Jade Statues). Make your way into the big room with the
Bone Lord enemies. Fight them and open the Chests behind them to find the
Green Fragrance,
Red Fragrance, and
Yellow Fragrances. There is also another Chest containing
2 Big Jade Statues.
- Return to
Fenore in
Taswan and give her the Fragrances. She rewards you with 1 Big Fire Statue and the all-important
Lottery Level 5 is unlocked.
- Return to
Kri-Lo in
Polad and give him the 10 Big Jade Statues to unlock
Shop Level 12.
-
Big Jade Statue IV Side Quest is now available. You will need to find 12
Big Jade Statues.
4 Big Jade Statues can be found in
Zrah's Camp
6 Big Jade Statues can be found in
Cave of the Ancestors
2 Big Jade Statues can be found in
Stormlord's Den (Level 5) past
Stormlord
Note:
- Stormlord's Den (Level 5) is probably the best place to grind after Level 170 all the way to 600 (may be different for Hard mode) because of the random encounters there.
- At this point, I would recommend that you use the
Lottery Trick to get the Ultimate+ Equipment that is available. The reason you will want to do this is you will soon have to face the
Big Bang Boss enemy to get the last
Big Fire Statue that he guards (for the
Strategy Master Side Quest). Having the higher hit points from that equipment will help you greatly in the fight. You can Of course, this also means you may have to add some
Spheres of Hate again to raise your Strength and Speed.
- When you're ready, head to the island North of
Cassar Island and fight the Big Bang enemy. The Chest behind him has the fourth Big Fire Statue.
- Return to
Noolend on
Double Peak Isle and give him the 4 Big Fire Statues and 20
Living Rocks he asked for. Noolend tells you that you can now advance to Level 600!
Eternal Master Side Quest is unlocked, which allows your characters to reach Level 999. You will need 6 Big Fire Statues and 20
Cursed Robes to turn in to Noolend for this Quest.
Post Game Guide (Level 250-600):
- To finish the
Eternal Master Side Quest, you will most likely need at least one of the 1 million hit point rings available at
Shop Level 13, as well as have your stats over 5,000 in strength, defense, and speed (Normal Difficulty). So the main goal at this point is to reach Shop Level 13. You'll have to face 2 of the Zone 3 enemies (
Dark Mage and
Vampire Lord) to get the 6
Big Fire Statues. These enemies have very high stats and not only is their speed your enemy, but the high damage they cause is as well.
Note:
- It may be possible to finish the
Eternal Master Side Quest (and subsequently finish
The Deluded Side Quest) when you reach Level 600. You may also need to upgrade the stats on the equipment you bought from
Lottery Level 5 and
Shop Level 10 as well as add
Materials that give your characters the passive skills
Item Master,
Inflated,
Protected and
Haste. You will want your stats just past 5,000 (for Normal Difficulty) by adding as many
Materials as you can that offer strength, speed, and defense. Your hit points should also be as high as possible for the encounters you will have with the Dark Mages and the Vampire Lords in the
Hidden Cave (
Anti Enchanted Flasks help as well). Feel free to try this if you do not want to wait until you get to Shop Level 13.
-Make your way to the following dungeons to search for the 12 Big Jade Statues:
Zrah's Camp
Cave of the Ancestors
Stormlord's Den
- I was Level 350 when I fought the Stormlord and it was not as difficult as I thought, because I had good equipment and decent stats. After you've beaten him, continue through the corridor to collect the last
2 Big Jade Statues.
- Return to
Kri-Lo in
Polad and give him the 12 Big Jade Statues to unlock
Shop Level 13
-
Big Jade Statue V (the last of the Big Jade Side Quests) is now available. You will need to find the last 15
Big Jade Statues.
4 Big Jade Statues can be found in
Hidden Cave
2 Big Jade Statues can be found in
Castle Temwall
4 Big Jade Statues can be found in
Endless Passage
5 Big Jade Statues can be found in
Dripstone Cave
Note:
- Buy all the new equipment you can and focus on making your characters as strong as possible to face the upcoming Dark Mages and Vampire Lords.
Hidden Cave
- When you're close to Level 600, enter the Hidden Cave and clear it out to find the 3
Toolboxes that
Jewom wants. You can also find
4 Big Jade Statues in there.
- Return to Jewom and give him the 3 Toolboxes (be prepared for a big fight). He rewards you with 6
Big Fire Statues among other things.
- Return to
Noolend on
Double Peak Isle and give him the 6 Big Fire Statues and the 20
Cursed Robes he asked for. You can now advance your characters to the max Level of 999!
(Noolend mentions that if you are demanding more upgrades, you will have to wait for Rainbow Moon II)
- Your next goal should be to find the remaining Big Jade Statues in:
Castle Temwall
Endless Passage
Dripstone Cave
- Return to
Kri-Lo in
Polad and return the final 15 Big Jade Statues to unlock
Shop Level 14. You can now purchase the best equipment possible.
Post Game Guide (Level 600-999):
- Try to spend some time now raising your characters to max Level, as well as collecting
Materials like
Foolish Eyes and
Mystic Paper (both from
Banned Pages) along with
Monster Jewels to add to your equipment to bring all your stats to 9999.
Note:
- The random encounters with the
Dark Mage enemies in the
Hidden Cave (provided you are strong enough to kill them quickly) offer the best way to make money fast from selling the materials that drop.
Note:
- You may also want to challenge 2 optional Bosses:
Annihilator - This fight can be done if you are relatively well equipped and have relatively high stats. Try to get into a battle with him where he can't attack you directly, meaning having a lower level monster between you and him.
Dark Kjayudo - This fight usually requires you have maxed out stats (all 9999) and really high hit points (over 4 million) and at least 150/200 recovery slots for
Incredible Flasks,
Large Walnuts, and
Seeds of life. The hard part is to get him in a position where he will NOT attack you on his turn, and all three of your characters can attack him on your turn. This can be difficult and may require a few tries to pull it off, but once you do, you really only need to heal yourself from the lesser enemies attacking you while you slowly bring down Dark Kjayudo's hit points.
So that's about it, for now. Hope you had as much fun playing this awesome game as I did. Special thanks to SideQuest Studios and eastasiasoft for making such an awesome game!
